How does delivery cut off work?
To ensure deliveries are placed according to wholesaler's delivery schedules, BEES uses delivery windows. When placing an order, the retailer needs to select a delivery date. But, it can only select that delivery date until a certain date/time, which is the delivery cut off. After that, it’s no longer available. This mechanism helps the wholesaler to properly receive and process the order to deliver on time.
Example:
Note: In the screenshot above, we've emulated three different scenarios to help you visualize the expected behavior when selecting delivery dates depending on the day and time an order is placed in relation to the delivery cutoff schedule.
If you want to receive it in the delivery window, you should place your order before the cut off.
What happens if I miss my delivery cut off?
BEES helps users to remember the cut off day by sending notifications like:
"Your order deadline is coming up. Place your order in BEES today to receive your order on...". Example:
If after the message you missed the cut off time, you will receive an error when trying to select the delivery date. If that's your case, please wait for the next delivery window before you place the order. Please see below the messages you might receive.
