In this guide, we will provide insights on how BEES utilizes liquor licenses and how they impact order placement.
Generally, users with expired liquor licenses can’t purchase alcoholic items. BEES provides a warning during checkout if you're license is close to expiring so you can be aware and take proactive action to update your license information.
If your license has expired, BEES will not be able to process your order. If this is the case, we ask you work with your wholesaler sales representative to update your license information with your renewed expiration date.
BEES allows for wholesaler discretion, meaning your wholesalers will set the liquor license mandates. Dependent on your wholesaler, liquor license validations are set up as a warning or a blocker during order placement. If you can't make your purchase and believe you should be able to please reach out to your sales representative.
